Kurukshetra, 12 July. Integrated University Management System implemented in Kurukshetra University has a trailblazing role in automation and digitalization of Kurukshetra University.
During a conversation about IUMS,
Kurukshetra University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Som Nath Sachdeva said that KU embraced Digital India Mission through this online portal which is being implemented in the university in a phased manner. Prof. Sachdeva further said that IUMS portal is the all-encompassing repertoire for the data of all students and employees of the university. This online portal will be beneficial for all the stakeholders of the university.
Deputy Director PRO Dr Jimmy Sharma said that through IUMS portal, one can access through admission process, transcript, marksheets, all records of employees and institute, office related work, all necessary online services of students, all finance related services, all examination related services and for private education, distance education and related colleges. IUMS is useful for speeding up the functioning of the university and bringing more transparency in examination, accounts, e-filing system and all departmental works.
In this session, 18379 students took advantage of the facility for admission in UTD and 7876 students for admission in IIHS through IUMS. In the last session, about 67 thousand students took advantage of the IUMS facility for private admission and about 17500 students for distance education.
Dr Sharma further informed that on the recruitment portal of IUMS, recruitments are being done on various posts for various teaching and non-teaching staff in the university. The IUMS Alumni Portal is a comprehensive repertoire for the alumni of the university, in which the data of the alumni of the university is being collected.
IUMS portal has accelerated the work process and increased transparency for regular, private and distance education students.
