Smart E- vehicles to be made using solar energy, artificial intelligence and computer
University will sign MoU with renowned companies making e-vehicles -Dr. Raj Nehru
Gurugram : Shri Vishwakarma Skill University to become an innovative hub for manufacturing E-vehicle. This project of E-Vehicle has been started by the students of Shri Vishwakarma Skill University. In addition to, Students are further planning to run E-Vehicle on solar energy as well as to connect this vehicle with artificial intelligence and computer. Vice-Chancellor of Shri Vishwakarma Skill University Dr. Raj Nehru said that with the inclusion of Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Solar Energy and 4.0 Multidisciplinary with this E-vehicle, this E-Vehicle is more advance then other E-vehicles available in the market. Moreover, Shri Vishwakarma Skill University is also planning to sign an MoU with two prominent institutes in the field of E-Vehicle to make this project more effective. This will help in design as well as innovation.
Dr. Raj Nehru said that students have prepared the E-Vehicle by working day and night. This project is purely student’s without any help of outside expert’s. All the technical work has been done by students themselves. Along with making this e-vehicle, students have learned many things simultaneously. Faculty and students are putting efforts to take this project long way. It has been prepared as per the needs of passengers from design, automation, fabrication and welding. Shri Vishwakarma Skill University is working in the emerging area of skills which will help students to resolve the technological complexities, take risks and engage with innovation. For this purpose, new experiments are being done in the campus, to make students become proficient in present and future technology by practicing and learning themselves. Vice-Chancellor Dr. Raj Nehru said that this will develop the skills of the students and these skills are required in the market.
Six students made e vehicle
With the encouragement and mentorship of Dr. Raj Nehru, Six students of the Robotics and Automation Program of Shri Vishwakarma Skill University started the initiative of e-vehicles. Suraj, Sahil, Anil, Anant, Duni Chand and Jatin embarked on this innovation, they had an idea and passion. Everything from its chassis to body and from socket to steering has been prepared by the students. Suraj says that the university campus is spread over more than 82 acres, it requires an e-vehicle for the people visiting the campus. Dean Prof. Ranjit Singh said that this e-vehicle covers a distance of 90 kilometers in one-time charging. Assistant Professor Dr. Krishna, Gaurav and Senior Skill Instructor Sansbir played an important role while preparing it. Prof. Ranjit Singh appreciated Vikas Chaudhary to help the students a lot by providing workshop.
Industry liked the project
Various prominent industries have appreciated and encourage the project. Arvind Kaul, Managing Director of East West Automation Private Limited, appreciated this project and immediately announced a reward of 50 thousand after its first look. Vice Chancellor of Gurugram University Prof. Dinesh Agarwal not only took a drive on this e-vehicle, but also placed an order in advance to make an e-option for his university campus. Gajendra Chauhan, Vice-Chancellor of Pandit Lakhmichand State University of Performing and Visual Arts, praised the students of Shri Vishwakarma Skill University by taking short drive on this e-vehicle. This e-vehicle has been prepared in a short span of time with the cost of one lakh 90 thousand rupees.
