NALSA Day Celebrated at Shibli National College
Azamgarh, November 11, 2025 — The Department of Law, Shibli National College, Azamgarh, celebrated NALSA Day on Tuesday, November 11, to commemorate the implementation of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987.
The event was chaired by Dr. Haris Umar, Coordinator of the Legal Aid Clinic, and graced by the presence of Mr. Ankit Verma, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Azamgarh, as the Chief Guest.
Prof. Afsar Ali, Principal of the College, Prof. Qazi Nadeem Alam, Head of the Department of Law, along with other distinguished faculty members, were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Mr. Ankit Verma congratulated the Department for organizing the event and expressed his commitment to support future legal awareness initiatives. He also extended an invitation to the students of the Law Department for academic visits to the DLSA, Azamgarh.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks and a call to strengthen the spirit of legal service and awareness among students.
